RETIRED INDEX — NO LONGER ISSUED
B211A was retired. Here’s what replaced it.
The general single-entry visit visa, retired in the restructure. It was split by purpose: C1 for tourism, family visits and transit, C2 for business.
If an agent is still selling you a B211A, ask them when they last read the regulation.
What to use instead
Two indexes replaced it — which one is yours?
The restructure split this category by purpose, and the two halves are no longer the same product. Pick what you’re actually coming to do.

Why the code changed
Indonesia renumbered its whole visa system
The system went from 133 types to 110, and the purpose codes became far more specific. The stated intent was to remove redundant categories and force applicants to declare a specific purpose, so immigration can monitor activity accurately.
| Old index | Replaced by |
|---|---|
| Visa exemption, index A2 | A1 |
| Visa on arrival, index B2 | B1 |
| B211A, the general visit visa | C1 for tourism, family and transit · C2 for business |
| D212, multiple entry | D1 for tourism · D2 for business |
If an agent is still quoting you a retired code, they are working from old information — and what they quote you will be for a product that no longer exists. See every current index →
