The general multiple-entry visit visa, retired in the restructure and split by purpose: D1 for tourism, D2 for business.
D2 now permits 60 days per entry rather than 30, so the replacement is more generous than the index it replaced.

Multiple-entry business visa
Meetings, purchasing and site visits, over one, two or five years. Site visits were added in the 2025 revision. It usually beats single-entry visas from about the third trip in a year.

Why the code changed
Indonesia renumbered its whole visa system
The system went from 133 types to 110, and the purpose codes became far more specific. The stated intent was to remove redundant categories and force applicants to declare a specific purpose, so immigration can monitor activity accurately.
